Self care – it is a buzz word these days, spoken a lot, and often used to give one permission to indulge. But what is it really?

Self care is anything that minimizes stress. That covers a lot of territory. It can be:

  • mindfulness

  • meditation

  • dancing

  • singing

  • hiking

  • visiting a friend

  • creating

It doesn’t have to be a spa or a bath or chocolate.

You get to choose what minimizes your stress.
