What To Expect
Updated: Jan 30

You may have wondered what to expect with a HOLD call. So, we thought we would give you an idea.
First, after you have scheduled an appointment, the Listener will, at the appointed time, call you (or open the chat, or Zoom, depending on what modality you chose). After you answer, the Listener will say something like, “This is Linda with Hearing Out Life Drama. I’m here to listen to whatever it is you would like to say today. It will not be shared with anyone else. I’ll be sure to let you know when we have 3, 5, or 10 minutes left at the end of the call. Otherwise, the time is yours.” We realize, of course, that starting this sort of conversation with someone you really don’t know can feel awkward. We will do what we can to help put you at ease. If you have a difficult time starting, we can offer suggestions on a good place to start. If you have made this appointment, though, you do have something that needs to be said, somewhere. If you want advice, you can ask for it, but otherwise we won’t try to fix things that can’t be fixed. We will just – listen, hear, feel with you. Because, honestly – and this might just sound crazy, but – we really do care. Once you are done with the call, you may feel a strange feeling – that calm descending, now that you have been heard.
We don't ask you to choose a listener, we provide you one. This is intentional. All of our listeners have been trained and are ready to hear you so you don't have to align your life to right person. You can trust the person on the other end will HOLD you. Does this sound like something you would like? Book online here: https://www.hearingoutlifedrama.com/book-online
